Karen is currently President of Scarsdale Synagogue. She formerly served on the Boards of the Junior League of Central Westchester (and as their Director of Community Development), the Old Scarsdale Neighborhood Association and the Scarsdale League of Women Voters (also serving as co-President one year). Over the years, Karen was an active volunteer at her Synagogue, the Junior League and the PTA, a member of the Scarsdale High School Compact Committee and co-leader of a brownie troop of 28 girls. Karen first worked with real estate as an associate attorney at Kaye Scholer, an international law firm known for its real estate practice, for 7 years before moving in-house to Prudential Insurance Company and subsequently, to a subsidiary of MetLife. Karen transitioned to residential real estate brokerage over a dozen years ago when this MetLife subsidiary relocated.
